The President of AOC, Dr Tan Kah Ooi, together with the first-secretary from the Embassy of Japan and CEO from SEED Co. Ltd, Mr Urakabe met up with the President of Ramkhamhaeng University, Assistant Professor Wutisak Lapcharoensap recently, to ink a joint project, whereby students, with the support of AOC and SEED Co., Ltd are selected and trained by the Faculty of Optometry of Ramkhamhaeng University.

The project marks a great initiative by AOC, reflecting its motto of “Asians helping Asia”. The success of such development for its member countries shall set a new standard in public health delivering system for eye care in the years to come.
