Dear AOC members,
On this World Sight Day I like to announce the launch of SOA and AOC Optometry Bursary. This bursary is awarded to optometry students from our all our member countries.
The objective of this bursary is to support our optometry students/trainees who are facing financial difficulties during their course of study. Each bursary is worth $2000 (Singapore dollars) and there are 10 bursaries available. Academic performance is not the main criteria in the selection process but proof of hardship and characters are.
Please help to disseminate the following brochures to the respective optometry schools in your country. It contains the link to the application form. Application starts now.
All applicants need the endorsement from both the heads of school and the president of the country association.
